Launch Day: Back To School Night

We are so excited to see you all on Launch Day, which has been changed to a Back To School Night.

Save the date for the back-to-school night that matches your students' attendance day.


-Tuesday Families join us on Monday, September 8th, 6:00-8:00 PM


-Thursday Families join us on Wednesday, September 10th, 6:00-8:00 PM

You will have a chance to...

  • Pick up schedules, pay bills, activity fees, add money to your pizza account, turn in immunization/waivers, and medication.

  • Walk through classrooms and meet teachers. Learn more about classes. Bring your students with you to find out more about this school year

  • Celebrate with an ICE CREAM TRUCK!

What To Bring To School:

Students are encouraged to only bring essential items that will be used during their learning day at SAS. Personal items and valuable items are discouraged. Prohibited items will not be allowed on school property.

Families should refer to the school handbook to learn more about SAS policies regarding device use.

25-26 Class Changes

Be sure to check your emails for instructions that were sent out on July 28th explaining how to make changes to your student's schedule for the 25-26 school year.

Immunization Information

Please have your forms and waivers up to date and turned in on launch day. These must be dated after July 1, 2025. More info on our health information page here.

If you turn in a waiver for immunizations, Colorado law requires the completion of a video module or a doctor’s signature on your waiver every year. Link to video https://cdphe.colorado.gov/vaccine-exemptions

Fundraising

Summit South has ongoing fundraisers that help upgrade student activities, special projects, and technology materials in class, as well as service projects we undertake as a school community.

  • King Soopers: Community Rewards makes fundraising easy! All you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your SooperCard (or enter Alt ID)! Sign in to your Sooper Card or create an Account to enroll: www.kingsoopers.com/signin. Once signed in, you can enroll or update your Community Rewards account under your Account Settings. Search for Summit South and voila! We receive instant cash back for our student activities!
