Supporting Students Needs:

At Summit South, we are dedicated to partnering with families to provide the best possible education experience. In order to care for your kiddos while they are at SAS, we would like to know of any allergies, medical conditions or learning challenges that might need extra attention or support so that we can best meet the needs of your child each week. Please feel free to email us at ataussig@jeffcoschool.us or visit our office to discuss any ways we can better support your family.
We have provided link to the Health Information page where you can find the health forms below, in case your student might have a health condition that we are unaware of. Your student's health is important to us

Cell Phone Policy Reminder:

We would like to TOOT the horn for students and families for working diligently to follow our new cell phone policy. We appreciate your efforts. We aso wanted to give families a quick reminder phones must be kept in backpacks not pockets. We hope this has helped support your students in growing in a healthly learning enviroment.

First Offense: Verbal reminder and required immediate phone check-in.

Second Offense: Parent/guardian notification.

Repeated Offenses: Compliance with this policy is required for school attendance. Students who have their phones taken away more than 2 times will need to turn their cell phones into the office at the start of the school day and the phone may be picked up at the end of the day.

Join us at the Colorado School off Mines Museum as we try and SPOT THE FAKE. This is a Hands on Activity: Try your hand at being a museum Curator in, “Spot the Fake!” Students will inspect a set of “donated” specimens using basic tools and be charged with finding and rejecting the fakes. Tune your observation skills and walk on the skeptical side. You’ll be surprised by fake-looking natural specimens and natural-looking phonies. $10 per student (one free adult chaperone).

All are welcome, however, this activity is geared towards kids grades 4 and up.
