We got information from Richard Orf, the lobbyist who attended our parent meeting last week: The Joint Budget Committee staff indicated that, time permitting, this week they would have more information on the part-time school funding and be able to make a vote. Keep the letters flowing; they have received 300 letters from Summit South alone.

Interested in learning more about your student taking college classes while in high school? These meetings are for students NEW to Concurrent Enrollment. If your student is planning to take CE classes for the first time, a parent and the student MUST attend one of these two after-school meetings, at 3:30 pm on March 12th in Conifer or March 17th in Littleton.  

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers for individual needs. Please email Mrs. Bidwell with any questions prior to the meetings 

SAS student's artwork included in the Equity & Excellence Art Exhibit

Join the Jeffco Schools Foundation in celebrating this year's Equity & Excellence Art Exhibit 

The exhibit is on display at the Jeffco Ed Center from January 29 to March 31, 2026. Visitors can view the artwork Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

SAS students' artwork will be included. 40 West Gallery is celebrating March, the month of printmaking, with two special exhibitions. 

Join us this March to experience both the Student Printmaking Exhibit and the 40 West Gallery Members Printmaking Mini-Exhibition, showcasing original prints created through a variety of traditional and contemporary printmaking methods.

Price is $2 per person.  Littleton History Museum 6028 S. Gallup St. Littleton, Colorado 80120

The museum encompasses three exhibition galleries, a research center, a gift shop, and two 19th-century living history farm sites. Museum staff/volunteers dressed in period-appropriate costumes work on the farm sites, run the working blacksmith shop, and teach in Littleton's first one-room schoolhouse, offering a "living history" perspective to the museum visitor.   The field trip starts at 10 am, and since this is an on-your-own experience, you can leave when you finish up touring the property.
