We will have a regular school schedule. We will serve pizza like always or you can bring your lunch.
We will have FUN stations like crafts, a photo opportunity with a GIANT penguin, and fun winter activities.
Bring some spending cash because you will also have a chance to shop at the Entrepreneurship Classes Holiday Market.

During the lunch periods, the Entrepreneurship classes will be hosting a Holiday Market. This is where they will be selling their handcrafted goods and services.
Bring some cash to spend because you will have a chance to shop.
Families are welcome to come between 11:30 and 1:00 pm and support our student's businesses as well.
Family Gingerbread House Competition!!
THIS WEEK
Bring your pre-decorated gingerbread house to school on December 17th &19th. Neutral judges will be judging and awarding family prizes. * Please only one entry per family.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science Field Trip
January 10, 2024 We will have a school day at the DMNS! SAS will cover the admission costs for all students and 1 adult per family. Arrival time is 9:30 am All families must arrive by 9:30 am so we can all be checked in together. We will take attendance for all students at the museum as required on a regular school day.
Transportation to the museum is not provided, but carpooling is welcomed, and parking is free. All students must remain with family members (or with friends if prearranged by parents). There will be no staff supervision for this trip!
Join us for the all-school field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science 2001 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80205.
We will be going to the Infity Theater (formally IMAX) to watch T-Rex in 3D.
It is required you sign up to attend. If you are not signed up we cannot guarantee your entrance at the school's discounted rate and access to the IMAX show.
National Western Stock Show Field Trip
Join us for the National Western Stock Show field trip.

Meet at the east end of the event center. We sign in as a group, it is free and then you are welcome to enjoy the stock show on your own. Parents are responsible for their own students.
Enrollment
Round 1 of enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is now open through January 17!
All families, including those new to Jeffco and those returning to the same school, should complete enrollment.

Class Changes
Under special circumstances, students will be allowed to request a change in their schedule with the approval of Mrs. Taussig.
These changes must be requested by filling out the class change form in Praxi.
When choosing a class you would like to switch to, it must say "SELECTED "next to the course name. If it does not say "SELECTED," the course is not available.
The deadline to complete the change request form is December 19, 2024.
*If approved, changes will go into effect at the beginning of next semester. January 14, 2025
