A Holiday Message from the principal

Dear JACCC Families,

As the first semester comes to a close, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. I feel so honored to be a part of this amazing community and have never felt less than welcomed and supported.

This semester has been filled with many accomplishments, both academically and socially. I am incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes demonstrated by our students. I have especially loved getting to know them, laughing with them and seeing them shine in their classrooms. Each one is unique in their own way.

Your active involvement in your child's learning journey plays a vital role in their success. Thank you for attending events such as the Back to School BBQ, Trick or Treat Street and many others. Thank you for any time you have devoted to volunteering and communicating with teachers.

We wish you and your families a happy, safe, and restful winter break. Please enjoy spending quality time together during the holiday season.

We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 refreshed and ready to learn in the new year!

Warm Regards,

Principal Carrie Mott

Stock Show Field Trip

We are very excited to be able to take our students to the National Western Stock Show on Friday, January 17th. This field trip is happening very quickly after we return from Winter Break and there are a couple of things we will need from parents.

Students will be transported by bus, but we are looking for volunteers to help lead small groups through the stock show exhibits. We encourage volunteers to carpool together!

We also need to get lunch items orders quickly after our return from break. If your student will need a sack lunch that day please use the link below to sign up. Please sign up no later than Jan 10th.

All-School Ice Skating Field Trip & Teacher Luncheon Recap

Our all-school ice skating field trip was a resounding success, with the children exuding fearlessness and excitement. It was heartwarming to see the older kids helping out the younger ones on the ice. Special thanks to Clara and Paul for providing delicious fries that were enjoyed by all!

Additionally, a huge shoutout to Ronnie for coordinating the catering, Brenda for the Costco run, Claire for the delightful cookie/scone platter from Two Birds One Scone, and to all our dedicated parent volunteers; Brenda, Jeana, Leann, and Ronnie, who made this day possible by watching the kiddos for lunch and recess. Your support and efforts are truly appreciated!
