Needs Request Now Open – Holiday Care Package Program
As we enter the holiday season, we recognize that some families may be facing difficult times. The Holiday Care Package Program is back to support current JA & Summit families and staff with gifts, essential needs, and more. While we can’t guarantee every request will be fulfilled, we’ll do our best to help as many families as possible.
If your family is experiencing hardship, please complete the Needs Request Form LINKED ON THE COMMUNITY CARES PAGE by Friday, November 14.
All personal information is confidential and reviewed only by Tiffany Flores (Community Engagement Specialist) for coordination purposes. Tiffany will follow up directly once your form has been reviewed. Questions? Contact Tiffany Flores for assistance.
(Want to donate? The list of needed donations will be shared on November 17, with collections running through December 8 — stay tuned for details on how to give!)
Thank you for helping ensure our families feel seen, supported, and cared for this season.

NEW Volunteer Needs
We have more good news!! The pre-k has grown to a point that we need two teachers with them at almost all times. The downside is we are losing a little bit of support with small groups K-5.
We could use a few volunteers who are willing to come to school 30 minutes early for pick-up and work with small groups of students on enrichment activities or foundational skills. All group time lessons will be planned for any parents who would be willing to facilitate learning so we can continue to grow all of our students academically.
Enrichment/foundational skills activities 30 minutes a day from 3-3:30.
Of course we always want to add to our lunch time and parking lot volunteers. We are so grateful to all the parents who have stepped up to fill this need. Thank you Sean Brown, Cassie Hougland, Lauren Riley, Anne Ware, Kate Langer and anyone who has just helped for a day or two.
Lunch supervision is an hour a day from 11:30-12:30 Crossing guard is 20-30 minutes a day from 3:15-3:45.

Our AMAZING intervention teacher Mrs. Wellensiek has created an Intervention Support Hub for our JA CCC families. It includes general information about her role in the building as well as some resources families can access at home for extra practice of reading and math skills. |
