A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for organizing such a fun and festive Trick-or-Treat Street! The decorations, activities, and treats made it a night to remember for our students and families. We also want to extend our gratitude to all the families who came out to support the event—your participation and enthusiasm help make our school community so special.
After our field trip to Miller Farms, we will hold our first SOAR Awards Assembly of the 2025–26 school year on Friday, October 31st at 2:45 PM.
As always, all members of our community are warmly invited to join us in celebrating our students' achievements.
NEW Volunteer Needs
The best news is our enrollment in Super Monday classes has grown quite a bit in the last two weeks creating a need for an extra set of hands in Art to help our creative learners.
Enrichment/foundational skills activities 30 minutes a day from 3-3:30.
Help in Super Monday Art classes 2-3 hours on Monday afternoons.
Of course we are still wanting to add to our lunch time and parking lot volunteers
Lunch supervision is about an hour a day from 11:30-12:30
Crossing guard is about 20-30 minutes a day from 3:15-3:45.
If you or you know of a community member who is able to help please Sign up here.

As we enter our snowy months JACCC’s procedure for snow days and late starts is as follows. If all Jeffco schools are closed JACCC is also closed. If Jeffco Mountain Schools are closed JACCC is also closed. If all Jeffco Schools or just mountain schools call a late start we will run a modified schedule from 10:30am-3:30pm. You should also receive a phone call and email with closure/delay information. It is always a good idea to pay attention to the local news and check social media or the JACCC website if you are ever unsure of whether we have a delayed schedule or a snow day.

Please remember to send a snack or two with your child each day. While we have a small supply of emergency snacks in the office, many students are requesting them daily, sometimes more than once. We're happy to help occasionally, but we aren't able to provide multiple snacks each day.

The weather is starting to change into fall which means colder mornings and some more rainy days We always love giving kids the opportunity to play outside on snowy, rainy days even on cold days. They also love to be outside, I had many students beg me to take them outside last week on the rainy Tuesday. Please make sure your child is dressed for Colorado mountain weather each day. If you are in need of cold weather gear for your child(ren) please call the office, we will keep these requests confidential.
